The documentary follows a young couple from Eastern Germany on their beach holiday. Furthermore, a noble woman who’s family mansion had been expropriated by the GDR and who is now rediscovering her childhood home. A French photographer and his family who have bought and renovated an old farmhouse and a hotel owner who has turned an old Rugen hotel in a modern wellness oasis. Along with our protagonists we explore the unique history and the beauty of the German island of Rugen.
